Your files are not publicly accessible by default. Only someone in possession of the download link can access them.

Moreover, we employ strong in-transit and at-rest encryption to keep your data safe. Your personal data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS (https) as well as at rest using the advanced 256-bit encryption standard, and each encryption key is encrypted with a regularly rotating set of master keys.

Once a file transfer has expired, the file(s) are permanently deleted and technically not recoverable.

We do not retain files or practice hidden file retention when a transfer has expired, so there is no point in contacting support to recover files from a transfer that has already expired.
